From our farm to your cup, we bring you the best quality coffee from Guatemala. Our high mountain coffee is renowned worldwide for its great body, aroma and taste. Albertos's coffee is grown under shade in the cloud forests of Guatemala, where coffee plantations are perpetually shrouded in tropical mist. These climatic conditions and rich volcanic soil contribute to develop the best beans possible from the gourmet varieties we cultivate.

The flowering coffee trees produce their fruit early in the year and each bud will mature into a coffee bean. These flower buds are carefully tended throughout the year until harvest day to insure THE COFFEE IN YOUR CUP IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Our nurseries produce a uniform quality of high mountain coffee with a consistent body, taste and aroma. We continuously replenish our plantations to keep them healthy and robust, because that is how they yield the best crops. Our nurseries are planted with the best coffee varieties.

In every cup of Guatemalan Coffee is a small piece of our ecology. For over 150 years, our coffees have been cultivated under the shade of tree canopies. Our plantations are a piece of the largest forest ecosystem in Central America, generating oxygen every day and providing habitat for thousands of birds along their migratory routes. The exceptional quality of ALBERTO's COFFEE is the result of growing our trees in rich volcanic soils of Guatemala. Our main objective is to continue to combine sound environmental management techniques to produce coffee in harmony with nature.

ALBERTO's COFFEE comes directly from these trees cultivated under the lush forest canopies at altitudes above 4,800 ft. For over 4 generations, discriminating gourmet coffee lovers world wide have enjoyed the exceptional quality of ALBERTO's COFFEE. Flowering coffee trees are pollinated by our own honey bees, they roam the plantations doing what they do best -naturally. Monitoring the health of our honey bees is a daily event, it provides insight into the health of our forests.
